- Pick an open name and add it to your cart.

- Find your new Web Hosting (cPanel) plan. Choose Set up.
- Follow the steps on the screen. Choose the domain for your site.

Put your site files online

You need site files and a set-up Web Hosting (cPanel) plan.
- Open your hosting plan from your ByteBop account.
- Find your site and open File Manager.
- Open the folder for that site. Choose Upload.

Good to know. AI-built site? Ask support if its files fit your plan. Some apps need more than an upload.

Point a domain to your site
An A record points a name to a server’s IP address.
Use this if your host asks for an A record. Get its exact details first.
- Open your domain where you manage its DNS, or domain settings.
- Find that A record. Choose Edit.
- Enter the name and IP address your host gave you. Save.
- Allow time for the change. It can take up to 48 hours.
Good to know. DNS changes can stop a site or email. Ask support if unsure.

- Follow the setup guide to make your email address.
- Add a backup email address to help you get back in.
- Sign in to webmail, which is email in your web browser.

- Sign in to your ByteBop account and open your domains.
- Choose the domain you want to keep. Find Renew Now.
- Pick a term and go to checkout.
- Check the cost, finish payment, and check the new end date.
Good to know. A domain renewal does not renew hosting or email. Check those plans too. If your domain has expired, use the source’s recovery guide.
